WHY, oh why oh why did he do it? 

Come let us gather in a media circle and wring our "politically-correct-blame-America" hands.

"Alledgely" this native born U.S. citizen, physician (healer) was theologically-opposed to being sent overseas to participate in America's war in Afghanistan because that would mean he was helping to kill his fellow Moslems.

So the logical conclusion in his Moslem-belief system mind was to kill as many of his fellow American soldiers as possible. It all makes perfect sense from his self-concept and from The Moslem Brotherhood's worldview.

The next thing you know, he'll be being praised for "following his conscience" and not simply "following orders" like the Nazi doctors did in WWII.

Trust me, that analogy will be forthcoming.

Just watch and mark my words, Major Hasan will be painted as an altrusitic innocent and devout Moslem locked in an intractable moral and religious conflict with his own beloved homeland, the U.S.A., a.k.a. "The Great Satan."

As for his actions in killing 13 people and attempting to kill a total of 42...why, it was the only thing he could do? Going AWOL, desertion, getting a Section 8 or resignation of his commission on conscientious-objector grounds were not viable options for him.

Oh me! Oh my! Alas, alack and forsooth...can you imagine the anguish of this poor devout Moslem?

LOOK AMIGOS:

This guy is not an "isolated crazy."

He isn't some mentally-ill person who "just snapped"

He is not crazy at all.

He is a fully-indoctrinated lifelong devout Moslem...he's a true believer.

He is just like the well-educated and seemingly normal Moslem physicians in England, who lived and worked there for years and then one day got up and drove explosive-laden SUVs into a Scottish Airport.

He is just like the 911 terrorists, who were well-educated young Moslem men with advanced college degrees. He is just like the London bus bombers and the Madrid train bombers and the bombers who blew the PanAm plane up over Lockerbie.

And, yes dear friends, he is just like the murdering Moslems who killed the Israeli Olympic athletes in Munich and the other cowardly hooded-murderers who beheaded a Wall Street Journal reporter, tortured and mutilated captured US servicemen and even, in a moment of masked-Moslem bravado,threatened a defenseless captured American woman for the pleasure of Al-Jeezeerah's viewers.

If Major Hasan wasn't a card-carrying member in good standing of The Moslem Brotherhood, he certainly appears to have been a "mind-carrying member" of the principles that are so clearly stated in the Oath Of The Moslem Brotherhood.

His "religion" means "surrender to god" - parenthetically, that means - surrender to the Moslem version and vision of god or else you infidels will be put to the sword!

BUT AREN'T MILLIONS OF MOSLEMS GOOD PEOPLE? 

Aren't many Moslems currently honorably serving in the U.S. Military?

But, he was "harrassed just for being a devout Moslem."

It looks more like this "alleged" murderer unashamedly used the U.S. Military system to suit his own personal ends.

And, I'll bet you a delicious, mouth-watering savory-roasted bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin from an "unclean swine" that Major Hasan's actions at Ft. Hood were just the culmination of a long and calculated process of his own personal brand of Moslem Brotherhood-style infiltration.

It is not uncommon for Moslems to move into a nation or community and Iive peacefully among the native infidels until they are strong enough to strike. It is their history and it also a well-documented tactic of The Muslim Brotherhood.

President Barack Hussein Obama Wins The Nobel Peace Prize!! Why? What Has He REALLY Accomplished?? A Contrarian Opinion.

I'm going out on a limb here, but I don't think President Obama deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, unless they are handing it out for wishful thinking.

I actually think that his policies are a detriment to world peace and even a threat to our National Security.

There, I said it out loud.

Since he has been in office, I cannot point to any REAL accomplishments in the area of world peace. I do not consider making speeches to be worthy of the Nobel Prize. If that were all it took, then they could give the Nobel Peace Prize to everyone from the Pope to the Dali Lama (who Obama just snubbed)  to the lowest level tin-horn dictator who mouths the words, "world peace."

Throughout history, there have been monnikers assigned to various world leaders:

Alexander The Great

Peter The Great

Ivan The Terrible

John The Divine

Richard The Lion Hearted

So what name should we assign to President Barack Obama?

Let's review all of his wonderful REAL accomplishments toward creating world peace.

1) Gave "Muslim outreach" speech In Cairo (Nice try)

2) Persuaded Iran to stop nuclear missle development (Not yet)

3) Persuaded North Korea to stop firing missles and working on more nukes (Not yet)

4) Presuaded Hamas and the Palestinian Authority to negotiate in good faith (Not yet)

5) Defeated the Taliban (Hahahaha)

6) Gave the okay to shoot 2 Somali Pirates (Good call)

7) Authorized Justice Department to investigate CIA (Bad call)

8) Released Gitmo detainees to rejoin terrorist ranks (Worse call)

9) Presented his vision of a nuke free world at UN (Narsicissm's finest hour?)

10) Promised "peace in our time." (Ooops...that was Chamberlain)

11) Reneged on missle defense deal with Poland and Czech Republic  (Yep)

12) Got France and Britain and Russia to shake a disapproving finger at Iran (Yep)

13) Convened direct talks with Iran (Yep...and they agreed to keep talking)

Wait a minute...so far, aside from authorizing the SEALS to takeout 2 Somali scumbags, I don't see any REAL - as in tangible - accomplishments toward real world peace here.

Do you?

I believe that President Obama's style, belief system, self-concept and policies are Chamberlainesque. He must actually think that he can talk sense to people like the Iranians, North Koreans and now the Taliban to get them to come around to be peaceful folks.

Is that a realistic worldview??

I believe the Thugocracy in North Korea, The Terrorist Theocracy in Iran and Muslim extremists from Somalia to Denver, Colorado and New York City see him as a weak, waffling person who's stongest response thus far has been to voice an occasional "strong concern" or fire off an occasional drone missle into a mud hut.

I believe that President Obama's new policy to include the "moderate members of the Taliban" in an Afghan government and the ignoring of his military commanders on the ground in their request for troops is a recipe for unmitigated disaster.

FYI: Do you know how to tell a Taliban Moderate from a Taliban Extremist? The moderate is the one that is no longer breathing.

The naivete, arrogance and delusional caprice of the Obama Administration, and that includes General Joe Biden, is staggering in the face of:

1) Historical facts and behavioral precedents by Al Quida/Taliban

2) Actions by Iran and North Korea

3) Avowed goals and actions by Hamas, Hezbollah and The Palestinian Authority

4) Professed nuclear ambitions by Iran and now Venezuela

5) Professed intent to destroy Israel by Iran in order to usher in the Age of the 12th Imam

6) Worldwide nuclear proliferation - Hugo Chavez is in the market now too and Russia's ready to sell him new military technology

So where do we come out...

I for one have seen no REAL, tangible results from all of Obama's speech making, apologies for America or "open hand" diplomatic initiatives.

I believe the Iranians will keep talking to the U.S. and others until the day they hit Tel Aviv with a nuke on the tip of a North Korean missle.

I believe the scumbags and vermin of the earth have taken President Obama's measurement very well. They know that he loves the resonance of his own voice. So they will keep him talking...they'll even pretend to listen as they buy all the time they need to arm themselves before they unleash their weapons at will.

It looks a lot like 1938 all over again to me.

I would not be surprised to see President Obama return from Oslo with his Nobel Prize under his arm and declare, "peace in our time."

Will history show him to be: Barack The ___________________.

Here's the Bottomline, as I see it:

Being awarded this prestigious prize will not advance the cause of world peace even one millimeter, it will only serve to ratify Obama's unwavering faith in himself and it will buttress his naive behavior. Any one, like me, who speaks up with a contrary view will be labeled as a "right-wing, war-mongering-Obama-hating racist."

Believe it or not, I've been called worse.

At the end of the day, the price of Obama's Nobel Peace Prize will be paid for by the endangerment of our armed forces in the field and the security of our nation here and around the world.

"Blessed are the peace makers for they shall see God."

Being a Christian, I really like that sentiment, I just hope that someone can really MAKE peace, instead of just TALK peace. Actions still speak louder than words. And right now, all the actions seem to be taking place in secret nuclear labs and roadside bomb factories.

I really hope I'm wrong about all this...

Hillary Clinton Will Resign Or Get Fired - A Birk Prediction Revisited

Dear Pals,

Way back when in my 2009 Fearless Forecast, I made this prediction:

"#20. President Obama Will Fire A Major Cabinet Member - this will have a big impact on the U.S. political and world scene. Just like Truman fired McArthur, Obama will fire Hillary Clinton for similar reasons in late 2009 or early 2010. Politics has always made strange bedfellows...but, three's a crowd."

Well, here it is October 2009, and just for the sheer audacity of it, I'm going to crawl way out on a limb and revisit my assumptions and revise the prediction.

SITUATION REVIEW:

1) Take a close look at Hillary's face today in any setting - she looks tired, worn out, angry and I think she's pretty frustrated. She's even gotten a little snippy when asked about Obama and Bill.

2) She's been marginalized to being 2nd Banana in the State Department by Obama (the titular head and face and mouthpiece-in Chief of everything) and his Special Envoys like John Mitchell et al.  

Hillary's been largely relegated to touring countries that are largely out of view, or sitting politely in the audience to applaud Obama at the UN or in Cairo.

3) Even her husband got the credit and glory for springing the reporters from North Korea.

4) Everywhere she looks, Obama is the face of everything from Healthcare to Foreign Policy, to the UN to the Olympic bids.

5) Hillary is always sitting there in the shadow of some doofus.

6) As Obama has changed The White House into The Waffle House with his equivocations over Afghanistan and his Chamberlainesque naivete in dealing with the Russians, Iranians, North Koreans and Islamic world, I'm sure that Hillary has had to "bite her lip" many times.

7) Now, Sara Palin resurfaces with her new book and boldly steps into the limelight of being America's most compelling female political figure. Palin's star is shining and rising as Hillary's is diminished, dimmed and reduced to the role of global "butt boy" and supporting actress to Barack and even Michelle Obama.

HERE'S MY PREDICTION:

Hillary has to be asking herself some pretty hard questions, like these:

Has my time passed?

Why do I have to play 2nd Banana, first to to Bill and now to Obama? Why me?

How long can I sit by and listen to Joe Biden contradict the views of US Military commanders?

How long do I have to sit here in the shadows as the Obama administration bungles its opportunities?

Here's where I go out on the limb.

I think Hillary will resign before February of 2010.

If Obama doesn't can her over a policy rift, she'll find a reason that isn't blatantly confrontational to step down gracefully. She will still want to be seen as a "good soldier," loyal Democrat and a team player - but, once out of the administration she'll begin to distance herself from Obama policies before the 2010 midterm elections - she'll be watching the 2010 elections with a very keen eye.

If Obama and the Democrats get handed a bloody defeat, then she'll quickly move into Hillary 2012 mode .

Her campaign slogan could be: I Told You So!

But, she'll actually be a lot smoother and shrewder than that.

She'll present herself as the experienced and seasoned choice to save the party and The White House from a national rejection of Obama. She'll harken back to the success of the Clinton years and promise a return to fiscal sanity and a realistic worldview toward America's enemies.

She'll move heaven and earth and Bill's old base to mount a challenge to Obama's policies. She'll avoid attacking the man, but she will take on his policy gaffs.

Bill is even a likely candidate for Secretary of State in a future Hillary administration given his Clinton Global Intiative work and success with Kim Jung Il.

What a doozey of a battle it could shape up to be.

Can you imagine Hillary upsetting Obama and running in 2012 against Sara Palin?

I can? (But I have a pretty lively imagination!)

We'll see....

The Quiet Meeting That May Make A Big Noise Around The World. Clinton And Geithner Go To China, And It Isn't To Pick Up Carry Out.

Dear Pals,

While America has been focused on the death of an arguably good singer and dancer, a little announcement was very quietly released by the Administration.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner are traveling to Bejing at the end of the month to meet with top level Chinese officials.

Why?

Could it be that China is extremely concerned about the:

1) Trillion dollar deficit racked up in just 140+/- days of Adventures in Obamaland?

2) Precipitously declining consumer purchases of Chinese goods from toys to steel?

3) The "full faith and credit of The United States of America"?

4) The wisdom of continuing to finance U.S. debt, given the additional Trillions that the Dumbocrats want to spend on a "Second Stimulus" and on Healthcare.

5) All of the Above...plus this Below...

The Chinese also have their own economic issues with factory closings, plummeting exports and unrest in the Uigher provinces and many cities where jobs were lost during the Chinese New Year break.

Traditionally, Chinese workers who live far away from their families in factory dormitories for much of the year, all return to their home villages for Chinese New Year.

They are NOT paid when they leave. They are paid when they return to work. That 100% payroll withholding plan assures their return to work in the glorious People's Factories.

Only this past Chinese New Year, many factories closed after the workers left. Workers were told not to return and no pay was sent to them. Imagine the unrest this has created.

Okay...now double it.

Keep your eyes on the Chinese. They are the key to U.S. economic stability. And believe me brother, they are not comfortable with out-of-control spending. In China, where you have to pay for everything yourself from food to housing to healthcare; SAVING is a virtue and they are very slow to spend.

Our Spend-O-Crat and Wast-I-Publican ways are very disturbing to them.

And if they stop buying U.S. Treasury Debt instruments, that will mean that Federal Reserve President Ben Bernanke will have to step up and buy even more debt from his old Federal Reserve pal at Treasury.

No other government in the history of the world buys its OWN government-created debt. (Show me one.)

Only the U.S.A. prints money backed by nothing, and then sells the debt to finance its profligate spending to itself when it runs out of suckers here and around the world.

What Bernake and Geithner are doing makes Madoff's Ponzi Scheme look like shoplifting at a Quckie-Mart.

The Chinese know this. And, since they invented the abacus and have been at this game of trade and finance for a few millenia...this smells very very very bad to them.

If the Chinese pull the plug and stop or even slow down on buying skyrocketing U.S. debt, that giant sucking sound you will hear will be the U.S. economy going down the toilet.

But, what do I know...I'm just a schmoo out here in the Heartland??

To All Morons And Other ACLU Supporters: How Do You Rationalize The "Ass Action" Lawsuit Against The Mojave Desert Veteran's Memorial? If It Only Takes One Moron To Be Offended, Can I Get The ACLU To Sue To Have St. Louis' Gateway Arch Torn Down?

And please, don't tell me it's because a cross is a religious symbol on Federal Land.

If you do, I'll take you down to Jefferson Barracks and show you the cross on my Dad's tombstone and several thousand more just like it that are on that piece of Federal Land. I can also show you a lot of Stars David there too.

If a Veteran's Memorial Cross way out in the middle of the Mojave Desert, that has stood there since 1934 - that's before WWII, Korea, Vietnam and Desert Storm, for you younger readers - is allowed to be torn down because of one guy - who lives three states away and who has never even been there to see it, but somehow finds it offensive - what's the ACLUs next target?

Let's follow this absurdity through to its illogical conclusion...

Will the ACLU file another "Ass Action" Lawsuit on behalf of some other moron to take down the tombstones bearing crosses at Jefferson Barracks...or the Stars Of David, because they might offend other morons or possibly a visiting Muslim Imam?

NOTE: It has to be an "Ass Action" lawsuit because it's been filed on behalf of just one ass...and therefore, it cannot be a "Class Action" - by any definition of that word; obviously class, never entered into it.

I'd love to have the ACLU attorneys and any Federal Judge come down to Jefferson Barracks and try to enforce an order like that in person.

I think I''m on solid grounds here - because whenever I see the Gateway Arch, which is on Federal Land; I'm offended.

Why?

Because it reminds me of McDonalds and since McDonalds doesn't pay for the commercial advertising and marketing value it subliminally derives from this 24/7/365, 630-foot Arch - it is therefore an unfair trade practice that is being subsidized by the Federal taxes paid by White Castle, Hardees, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Burger King, Taco Bell, Papa John's, Spencer's Grill, Pizza Hut and Jabba the Hutt, and that offends me, somehow.

PS2: I created the first concepts for the original McDonald's Children's Meal for Stolz Advertising Account Supervisor, Mark Lashly and Dick Bram's, the McDonald's regional marketing manager.

I sketched them out while Mark and I were sitting at a picnic table near the Sun Bear pits in the world famous St. Louis Zoo in Forest Park.

I remember there were a lot of pesky flies that day.

We subsequently won a Steuben Crystal Bowl for our agency from McDonald's Founder Ray Kroc and shared The McDonald's Children's Marketing Award that year with a Kansas City agency .

Our first premium was a series of toys called Space Invaders and we used Ronald McDonald actor King Moody in the TV spots we shot here. King danced with the actor kids on the side of a giant Fun-To-Go Box that was built at Communico.

Between takes, King Moody would disappear into his "Star's Winnebago Dressing Room" to smoke and enjoy adult beverages out of the kiddies' sight. King Moody...was also a very appropriate name for this clown.

In hindsight, I'd have rather have had a 2-cent royalty on every one of the McDonald Happy Meals sold since then!

While Obama Goes To Russia With Love, Did Joe Biden Really Open The Door To An Israeli Airstrike On Iran's Nuclear Facilities? Or Was He Just Romanov The Reservation Again?

Whenever Vice President Joe Biden speaks, I have a curious reaction that is a cross-between giddy laughter and a shriek of stark terror.

While our inspiring new President is abroad in Moscow "resetting" the US-Russian relationship with his own brand of charismatic personal diplomacy that has been dutifully reported to enchant people far and wide,

...Joe Biden was on the loose on TV saying, "if Israel decided to hit Iran's nuclear reactors that it was within their rights as a sovereign nation."

Hmmm...is that just another Bidenism ( Bidenism: an ill-advised and intemperate jibber-jabber gaffe from the "Scrappy Kid From Scranton,") or did he accidentally blurt out a little insight into a significant shift in U.S. foreign policy in the wake of the recent elections and political unrest in Iran?

If I was a mullah in Teheran, I might be wondering if the Vice President's statement effectively amounted to the equivalent of Pontius Pilate washing his hands in a difficult spot? Is he trying to walk a fine line between the Jewish population in the the United States and the Muslims of the Islamic world, by saying Isreal is on its own.

Was Joe really saying, "Hey, if Israel hits Iran, it's their decision and theirs alone. We can't control them. Ergo, we can't be accused of being responsible for aiding, abetting, encouraging...or possibly even, supporting or standing behind that kind of unilateral Israeli action???"

Hmmm...I may be nuts, but Obama appeared to have been keeping Joe on a very short leash with a tight muzzle on lately; for him to suddenly resurface on Meet The Press and make this kind of statement while his boss was headng out of town , seems a bit incongruous and yet, curiously coincidental in an Administration that carefully orchestrates everything.

Where is Secretary of State Hillary Rodam Clinton?

She's been as silent as the Sphinx since Obama's speech to the Muslim world in Cairo. I would expect that she, not "Clueless Joe," would be the leading Administration spokesperson on matters of this highly sensitive nature.

Everybody knows The Middle East is a "powder keg" and the last person who needs to be playing with matches and gasoline in that environment is Joe "Shoot from the Lip" Biden.

Of course, if and when the do-do hits the fan, Obama can always say, "Hey I was out of town in Moscow, I didn't say that...and, well you know Joe...hahaha." (Flash trademark Obama smile here)

Keep an eye on this...there's more here than meets the eye, methinks.

PS: While he's in Russia, I wonder if our apologetic and charismatic President offered to create a "Czar" to oversee the new pathway to nuclear disarmament (a.k.a. the non-deployment of the U.S. Protective Missile Defense Umbrella in Europe.)

Maybe he should appoint Vice President Joe Biden to that Czar role. The Russians have a long history of dealing with Czars. It would probabably work out just fine for Obama too, especially if Joe goes Romanov on his own in the Russian countryside.

Alaska Governor Sara Palin Makes News! Is The Prediction I Made In My 2009 Fearless Forecast Coming True?? Can She Lead A New Movement That Can Cause America To Make A U-Turn On The Obama Highway? Is The DNC View Absurd And Condescending? Or Just Stupid?

Dear Pals,

Sara Palin's big and unexpected resignation announcement apparently caught everyone by surprise.

The immediate speculation included:

Is she leaving politics for good?

Is she caving in under ethical investigative scrutiny and pressure?

Is there a skeleton in her closet?

Is she getting ready to run for the White House in 2012?

The Democrat National Committee (DNC) wasted no time in issuing the following statement from: DNC Spokesman Brad Woodhouse:

"Either Sarah Palin is leaving the people of Alaska high and dry to pursue her long shot national political ambitions or she simply can't handle the job now that her popularity has dimmed and oil revenues are down. Either way - her decision to abandon her post and the people of Alaska who elected her continues a pattern of bizzare behaviour that more than anything else may explain the decision she made today."

WHOA Brad!

Who is this Woodhouse GENIUS anyway?

Who believes that the DNC's assertions are accurate or are even the only two possible reasons for her decision; other than the rest of the really really really smart people like him at the DNC, who love to think for all of us feeble-minded citizens??

I'm not surprised to see this kind of rhetoric and bile gurgling up from the DNCistern. The DNC is so used to the lies spun and spewed out by their Democrat politicians, that they wouldn't know the truth if it hit them between the eyes like a hollow point .44.

I heard Sara Palin's speech yesterday and I heard her say loud and clear that her decision to resign as Governor was based on these principles, values and priorities:

1. Faith in God - what's right and true.

2. Family - what's best for her family.

3. Alaska - what's best for Alaska.

I'm not surprised that the DNC can't understand her reasoning. The thinking of people with real principles and genuine values is simply unchartered territory for the self-proclaimed intellectual elites at the DNC. 

I'm not surprised that the DNC thinks that giving up a prized-plumb political job like being a Governor is  "bizzare behaviour."

You see, the DNC thinks the arguably aberrant behaviour of Barney Frank, Chris "Countryside" Dodd, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Charlie Rangle, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Howard Dean, Bill Clinton, Tim Geithner and ACORNian activists is "normal behavior."

DNC Law Number 1 states that once you have a political office that you must to hang on to it no matter what. Ask Senator Arlin Spector, the Pennslyvannia Pollcat, the newest Democrat about that.

The DNC knows that political office is the golden-lifetime ticket to status, personal privilege at public expense, special perquisites, unchecked power, lifetime pensions, special retirement plans, special health care plans and a legal license to steal and line the pockets of the party and your fellow politicians.

I think a large body of evidence will support my assertions...on both sides of the aisle.

Let's take a close look at Sara Palin's thinking and her priorities:

1. Faith - she believes in Jesus Christ. Oh my God!! Some people even say she's a "Christian Fundamentalist" - so, if she doesn't believe in Jesus Christ in a certain way that's acceptable to the mainstream media then it's okay to deride her and ridicule her "brand" of Christian beliefs.

The DNC knows that godless Secular Humanism is the only way to fly.

I find myself in Governor Palin's court here. People who know me know that I am not an orthodox religious kinda guy. Far from it. But, I do admire folks with a strong belief in Judeo-Christian values. I don't admire the folks who do really bad stuff in the name of their special version of God's will or because it's deemed to be politically correct.

2. Family - It's painfully obvious that she loves her kids and that her family is most important to her. She refused to abort her youngest child, Trigg. Some people think that Sara Palin was irresponsible for knowingly carrying a down-syndrome child to term.

What presumptive and arrogant nonsense!

Many of this same ilk were quick to defend abortion specialist, Dr. Tiller when he was sadly murdered. He killed 60,000 babies, many by late term abortions; where a hole is punched in a viable baby's head and then the infant's living feeling brain is sucked out.

Dr. Tiller was hailed as a "hero who helped women in need" by the Secular Humanists. (Although I fail to see anything even remotely Humanistic about killing defenseless babies.)

Sara Palin has been criticized for her choice to choose LIFE for Trigg. I'm with Sara on this one too.

Killing babies is well, killing babies. I'm not in the camp of the liberal loons who say, "Shoot a wolf or a moose...it's an outrage! Kill a baby...oh, that's okay."

Sara Palin also refused to take any late night Letterman Lip. She called him out and made him apologize for his really cheap and sleazy shots at her daughters.

Where was the outrage from feminists about Letterman's crude and tasteless remarks?

The silence from N.O.W. was deafening.

Sara Palin knows that her family isn't perfect...but it is her family and she understands that family is very important. One might even say, "fundamentally important," because the nurturing environment created in a two-parent: Mother and Father family is the cornerstone of a stable home, city, state and a nation...maybe even a world.

There are many other politically correct and alternative definitions of what a "family" is today, but so far, I haven't seen a better archetype than a family led by a loving Mother and Father.

I'm with Governor Palin on her personal right to choose LIFE for Trigg. And I'm with her on standing by and up for her family in the face of smug smears by societal elitists like so-called funnyman David Letterman.

You'd think feminists would like and admire Sara Palin, she is a strong and intelligent woman who seems capable of doing any job she sets her mind to.

So why were other women so deathly silent when she and her family were being trashed??

Ooops, I forgot Governor Palin didn't go to Smith, and she isn't a Democrat or a Secular Humanist like that pillar of intellectual feminist supremacy, Joy Behar of da View.

3. Alaska - The DNC would like you and me to believe that Governor Palin "simply can't handle the job now that her popularity has dimmed and oil revenues are down."

Bull Roar!

She proved that she could handle the job. Her administration's record is clear, enviable and admirable. She leaves Alaska in the capable hands of a great team. There was no groundswell to make her step down.

This was her decision.

And, I for one, believe her stated reasons and find her to have her priorities in admirable order. Like Cinncinnatus of Rome, she does not covet or lust for enduring power. She knew how to serve well and then how to return to her "real life."

So what now?

Well back on January 12, 2009 in my Fearless Forecast, here's what I wrote:

The Values Of The Greatest Generation Will Have A Rebirth - Baby Boomers are now Senior Boomers and they will harken back to what they learned about "hard times" at the knee of their grandparents and parents. Books on rugged individualism, independence and self-reliance will gain in ever increasing popularity. Basic training in bedrock life skills like saving, work ethic values, square dealing and self-reliance will once again be emphasized.

In a surprising resurgence, Theodore Roosevelt's life and epic actions will be revisited in many books. WWTRD wristbands (What Would Teddy Roosevelt Do) might even emerge as visible statement of American strength of character, optimism and idealism as TR's trust-busting-style of personal integrity and zest for living takes hold and the values and energy of the old Rough Rider ride again. Ironically, the Bull Moose-hunting Governor of Alaska will play a leading role in this resurgence of the rugged individualism movement."

That's what I think Sara Palin will do. I think she will become the very articulate and persuasive point person on the resurgence and revitalzation of a movement - note I said, "movement" not "party."

I think Sara Palin is going to hit the trail all across the nation - in cities and towns, hamlets and crossroads. I think she's going to carry a flag with three words boldly emblazoned on it.

I think that eternally-sound hierarchy is just right for these arguably world-turned-upside down times. It reminds me of the maxim that guides an institution that I also admire, The USMA at West Point, where Duty, Honor, Country still resonates.

Someday, I hope to shake Governor Palin's hand.

I admire her grit and gristle.

I wish her well and I hope she can help ignite a movement that will cause America to make a U-Trurn from the path our inspiring new President and the Spend-O-Crats and Wast-E-Publicans have sent us careening down.

If Tom Hanks hadn't made the movie, The Road To Perdition, that might make a pretty good theme for the current State Of The Union.
